Sibshop Description: The Sibshops program here at MGHfC offers brothers and sisters of children with special health, mental health and/ or developmental needs the opportunity to obtain peer support and education within a recreational context. The Sibshops program is facilitated by members of the healthcare team and is designed to be a chance for siblings to discuss the good and the bad of being the sibling of a child with special needs, as well as provides an opportunity to meet other siblings that share many of the same feelings. The Sibshops program is geared for typically developing siblings between 8-12 years of age and meets the third Saturday of the month from September- November and January- May here at the main MGH campus.
