Welcome to The Sibling Support Project

The Sibling Support Project, believing that disabilities, illness, and mental health issues affect the lives of all family members, seeks to increase the peer support and information opportunities for brothers and sisters of people with special needs and to increase parents' and providers' understanding of sibling issues.

About our parent organization, the Kindering Center. A not-for-profit neurodevelopmental center, the Kindering Center provides comprehensive services, crucial therapies, special education, and counseling for over 2,000 infants and children with special needs each year. The Kindering Center is committed to creating and providing superior, individualized, family-centered services for children who have disabilities, special health care needs, or are vulnerable because of abuse or neglect.
